Potter: Fantastic Beast Filming Updates, Win Jonny Duddle Workshop, BAFTA nominations

Hypable are reporting Potter and Paddington producer David Heyman has updated us on the filming schedule of Fantastic Beasts. He tell us in the video below that Stuart Craig (amazing set designer on Potter) will return and that filming is set to begin "late summer". Casting is still in early days and there is only talk of one film for the time being. check out the video below:

Congrats are also in order to the dude since Paddington is up for 2 Baftas!


In other Potter news, one UK school is in for a treat! Bloomsbury are offering a workshop with Potter artist Jonny Duddle and more great artwork prizes as part of the upcoming event Harry Potter Book Night:

In J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Ron shows Harry the cards that come inside packs of Chocolate Frogs. These cards feature a description of a famous witch or wizard and their achievements.
To be in with a chance of winning the above prizes for your school, we want you to create YOUR OWN witch or wizard card. Draw a picture of your witch or wizard and write the name you have chosen for them along with a brief description of their greatest wizarding achievements. Your witch or wizard could even be you!

In other other news, some Potter alumni got nominated for BAFTAS and Golden Globes.
Ralph Fiennes has now garnered three nominations for Grand Budapest Hotel (BAFTA Critics Choice and Golden Globes).
Imelda Staunton had been nominated for Pride at this years BAFTAS also.

David Tennant won Favourite Actor in a New TV Series at the People's Choice Awards.

In other BAFTA nods: 

Mr Turner got nods for cinematography, production design, costume design, makeup & hair, but not best actor Timothy Spall or film.
That said, The London Critics circle has Spall up for Best Actor among the 7 nominations the film got.
