BOO! VERY FEW PREM PICS AND GUARDIAN AND INDEPENDANT GIVE BAD REVIEWS TO DH!

I was astonished at the pure LACK of pictures in UK papers today, most having Emma as a cover star and, then having nobody else. Worse, none seemed to have Jo Rowling, and some contained some frightfully bad reviews. The Independant called it "fumbling" according to BBC ENTERTAINMENT TELETEXT and this awful conclusion was given to a 2 star review in the Guardian;
"There's no doubt the Potter spin-offs have been a reliable cash dispenser for warner bros, and no denying that they are deeply loved by legions of fans that flock to see them. What remains to be seen is how they will stand up in 10,20 or 30 years down the line. Try as I might, I can't shake the suspicion that these films are too obviously built for purpose and too LACKING IN WIT, WARMTH AND HUMANITY TO SURVIVE BEYOND THE MOMENT"!

Caps are added by me in disgrace. Yes, they are not completely loyal, and Prisoner of Azkaban is a ramshakle of a film, but the special effects, acting, and overall visual presentation are enough to put these films into history. They have spanned the longest time, made the most money, and even presented new special effects technology for the first time. And as much as i hate to say it, some additions to the beautifully crafted scripts (thumbs up, Mr Davis)have even added to 'wit' and 'humanity'.

I guess at least the guy had the decency to praize the literature behind the films, calling the books a "literary marval". Didnt make you include Jo pics though,did it?
Although they did a nice little feature on the 10 years.

The worst offender however, is the Daily Mail who fed up some stupid story about Emma's dress being magic taped to her back....didnt they run that before?
The Daily Express, as i mentioned on Twitter, praised the film saying it had "heart in your mouth" excitement, which i imagine it did. I guess i'll just have to wait and see for myself. :)

On the pics front, The Mirror had a few small pictures of Dan,Rupert and Bonnie...all hope was lost until i saw, surprisingly enough, A NORTHERN IRELAND PAPER, The Irish News had a trio picture on the cover and some nice ones of rupert and emma with fans. N Jo ones though. SHAME ON ENGLISH PUBLICATIONS FOR HAVING LESS THAN A NI ONE!Hope the ones i didnt see were better!
