I misheard this story when it was first read on SKY NEWS; i thought they praized her! It appears she has in fact annoyed them by refering them as backward and "by joking that they stone and flog homosexuals". She also said;
"I think they are allowed to shoot Irish or Scottish people if they arrive on the island - it is still in the rules. They are allowed to torture people." on the Craig Ferguson Show ealier this month.
