Well i mentioned it on the Twitter anyway. SKY MAG this month had a lovely little article detailing EMMA THOMPSON's career and as there is a small section where she speaks about doing Prisoner of Azkaban, i thought i should post it.

In 2004, Emma accepted the role of Professor Trelawney in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban to impress her daughter Gaia (born in 1999). She claims the scatty scholar isn't far removed from her own personality. "In one scene I get to stand at the top of the stairs waving an empty sherry bottle, which is, of course,a typical scene from my daily life," she laughs."
Interestingly Emma starred in a tv sitcom, Peter's Friends, with her husband and hp co-star Kenneth Brannagh (Gilderoy Lockhart) and audio-book extraordinaire Stephen Fry
