Radcliffe: Confirmed Date for Return to The Simpsons, Daybreak Interview and More

New German KYD Poster
It has just been confirmed that Daniel Radcliffe's second The Simpsons episode (the right one for him this time round in my opinion) is to air in America this coming March. Further good news on this front is that the title of the episode is his characters name, Diggs!! Much improvement since that slice of the action in his first time on the Simpsons as third of a Halloween episode that was a swipe at Twilight, which given Dan's personality and comedic talent, was totally unnecessary. The new episode will air on Fox March 9, 2013 and a short synopsis is below. Please note that previews wont emerge until the Wednesday before the episode and we will update with these as they emerge.
Bart is rescued from a confrontation with Springfield Elementary's bullies by Diggs (Daniel Radcliffe), a recent transfer student and aspiring champion in the niche sport of falconry. But Bart soon discovers that Diggs harbors aspirations on a far more grand scale than wrangling falcons: he actually wants to take to the sky himself.

In other Daniel news, he has recently donated to the SAG Awards auction, which will occur on from the 16th January, through the awards themselves on 18th January and will close on the 26th January. Daniel has donated some signed Potter books and Kill Your Darlings memorabilia. Red carpet bleacher seats are currently on auction on ebay here (which we note Daniel is not set to attend although many other awesome stars will) and more information, including the auction link when it opens, are available here.

Finally, Dan spoke with Daybreak way back in October about Frankenstein and Kill Your Darlings. Check out the clip below:
