Potter: More Pottermore Goblet of Fire Open, Animals Returning to WB Studio Tour & More

Lots of Potter news, and thats aside from the fast-approaching Celebration of Harry Potter convention.

Firstly,  the next installment (packed with new info from Jo Rowling herself) of Pottermore's Goblet of Fire has arrived!

Chapters 12-20 are now available to explore and there is lots of new content available, including more info about a certain Ms. Skeeter. You can also show your support for S.P.E.W and much more. Just head over to Pottermore now!

In other news, between 14th and 24th February animal actors return to the Warner Bros Studio Tour in London! You can see favourites such as Fang, Hedwig, Crookshanks and more:

Visitors will be able to pose for pictures with a selection of animals, trained by Head Animal Trainer Julie Tottman, as they revisit the incredible sets they frequented while working on the films. They'll team up with their trainers to demonstrate the acting tricks they learned...

Platform 9 3/4 Shop Now Online, More Info on the WWOHP Convention in January

UK fans who live outside of London can now benefit from the new online Platform 9 3/4 Shop. The real life shop is situated in Kings Cross station, but people from other parts of the UK can now purchase the merchandise in the shop. This is good news because shipping from the U.S. from Warner Bros' online shop costs a fair amount. The shop can be accessed here.

Yet if you do not live in the UK, do not fear, because a wider selection of delivery locations is coming in early 2014. Watch. This. Space.

In other Potter news,  it was previously revealed that a special 'Celebration of Harry Potter' convention was to be held in January at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Theme Park in Orlando, Florida. A few more details have emerged including:

Panel discussions that cannot be missed with MinaLima - creators of the graphics seen in the movies

-- Pottermore – an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Pottermore.com - the free interactive website from J.K. Rowling (Saturday & Sunday)

-- Plus, guests can explore the one-of-a-kind Harry Potter Expo with interactive activities for fans including a vignette of movie props from Harry Potter: The Exhibition and The Sorting Hat™ experience.

It is also mentioned that "various actors will be attendance" although there is no information on who yet. Please also note that packages sold out in minutes when it was first announced during the summer, but Snitchseeker have said:

those who are willing to go to the park with regular tickets will get a sampling of some of the celebration's events.

In other fan event news, the official Christmas event at Warner Bros Studio Tour has begin will the placing of snow on the Hogwarts model. Some Christmas trees were also added and a picture of Hogwarts can be seen right, with a picture of tv star Amanda Holden beside a Christmas tree inset.

Potter: WB Sale on DVD'S up to 75%, Some Cool Potter Gear For Grown-Up Ladies

Warner Bros have a bumper sale on for Autumn/Fall, ending on the 19th September so get buying! The sale consists every version of the Potter films imaginable, with some titles, such as Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: Special Edition DVD, going at 75% off. Check the sale out here.

In other Merchandise news, Magical Menagerie are reporting that Black Milk Clothing has created a Harry Potter collection. The collection is aimed at teen to adult girls and is pretty cool if a bit pricey. Check it out here.

UPDATED with Video:Platform 9 3/4 Shop Opens with Warwick Davis

Magical Menagerie asked for a fan to go to secret event on behalf of them a few days ago and were the first to reveal that the Platform 9 and 3/4 shop would open today!                                                                                                                 Mugglenet and Leaky Cauldron were covering the event throughout the morning and have posted images etc. The one left is from Mugglenet.                                                                                         Warwick Davis(lower right) was on hand to cut the ribbon at the event which was a preview of the Kings Cross shop which is to officially open tomorrow:

"Working alongside Network Rail and in conjunction with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, London Film Museum's The Harry Potter Shop is an intimate store, decorated in a similar aesthetic to the shops of Diagonal Alley, offering a wide range of official Harry Potter merchandise. From robes and jumpers to the books, wands and jewellery, the products are largely similar to those already available at the Studio Tour, however there are some great 'Platform 9 and 3/4' hoodies and t-shirts and it has been confirmed that the store will be rolling out a whole range of exclusive 'Platform 9 and 3/4' branded items over the next year."

Pottermore~Selected Library Books Can Be Read,Fantastic Beasts,Beedle and Quidditch TTA to be re-release at 3 book hardback set

Pottermore announced on their twitter recently that the books in the school library could now be read!

Mugglenet broke the news that a new, 3-book "Hogwarts Library" set was to be released by Bloomsbury. This got us here at Danaholics unnecessarily excited as we thought, maybe just maybe, in conjunction with the first story, new materials from the Hogwarts Library might be released. However, Snitchseeker updated to let us know that the collection will include;

• Fantastic Beasts and where to Find Them


• Quidditch Through the Ages


• Beedle the Bard

The collection is to be the first publishing of FBWTFT and QTTA in hardback and is to hit the bookstores sometime in Autumn/Fall.

First Look at ULTIMATE Harry Potter 'Wizards' dvd set!

As this is one of the last Harry Potter stories, we decided to give it its very own post *sigh*!
